Frequently asked questions.
We’ve got answers.

NRC Therapy Services is a private pay speech therapy practice. This means we do not bill insurance directly. However, we provide a detailed superbill after each session or monthly upon request, which families may submit to their insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement rates vary by plan, so we recommend contacting your provider for details about your out-of-network speech therapy benefits.
-
A superbill is an itemized receipt that includes all of the information insurance companies require for reimbursement, such as CPT codes, diagnosis codes, and provider credentials. Once you receive your superbill from NRC Therapy Services, you can submit it to your insurance company to seek partial reimbursement for the cost of services, depending on your specific policy.

We proudly offer in-home and community-based speech therapy services throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties, New Jersey. Our goal is to bring therapy directly to the child’s natural environment—whether at home, in school, or within the community—to promote carryover, comfort, and real-world communication success.
-
NRC Therapy Services provides speech, language, literacy, feeding, myofunctional, AAC, cognitive-communication, and executive-function therapy for children and adults. We also offer specialized evaluations, Orton-Gillingham–based literacy support, parent consultations, and professional development for educators and clinicians.
-
Being a private pay practice allows us to focus on individualized care without insurance restrictions. We create therapy plans based on your child’s needs—not visit limits or coding requirements. This approach ensures flexible scheduling, consistent progress, and direct communication between families and their Speech-Language Pathologist.

We don’t offer discounts—and here’s why! At NRC Therapy Services, every session is thoughtfully planned, evidence-based, and personalized to meet your goals. Our rates reflect the time, training, and expertise that go into delivering high-quality, one-on-one therapy. Instead of cutting corners, we focus on maximizing value through progress, collaboration, and results that last long after the session ends. Think of it less as a “discount” and more as an investment in meaningful communication.
